Qualcomm driver updates for v6.7

This introduces partial support for the Qualcomm Secure Execution
Environment SCM interface, and uses this to implement EFI variable
access on the Windows On Snapdragon devices (for now).

The 32/64-bit calling convention detector of the SCM interface is
updated to not choose 64-bit convention when Linux is 32-bit. The
"extern" specifier is dropped from the interface include file.

The LLCC driver gains support for carrying configuration for multiple
different system/DDR configurations for a given platform, and selecting
between them. Support for Q[DR]U1000 is added to the driver.

All exported symbols are transitioned to EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL().

The platform_drivers in the Qualcomm SoC are transitioned to the
void-returning remove_new implementation.

The rmtfs memory driver gains support for leaving guard pages around the
used area, to avoid issues if the allocation happens to be placed
adjacent to another protected memory region.

The socinfo driver gains knowledge about IPQ8174, QCM6490, SM7150P and
various PMICs used together with SM8550.

6979f88f5a dt-bindings: arm: Add new compatible for smc/hvc transport for SCMI
Introduce compatible "qcom,scmi-smc" for SCMI smc/hvc transport channel for

e11c480b6d dt-bindings: firmware: arm,scmi: Extend bindings for protocol@13
The protocol@13 node is describing the performance scaling option for the
ARM SCMI interface, as a clock provider. This is unnecessary limiting, as
performance scaling is in many cases not limited to switching a clock's
frequency.

Therefore, let's extend the binding so the interface can be modelled as a
generic performance domain too. The common way to describe this, is to use
the power-domain DT bindings, so let's use that.

92dab9ea5f dt-bindings: firmware: qcom, scm: support indicating SDI default state
IPQ5018 has SDI (Secure Debug Image) enabled by TZ by default, and that
means that WDT being asserted or just trying to reboot will hang the board
in the debug mode and only pulling the power and repowering will help.
Some IPQ4019 boards like Google WiFI have it enabled as well.

So, lets add a boolean property to indicate that SDI is enabled by default
and thus needs to be disabled by the kernel.

6c1561fb90 Merge tag 'soc-dt-6.5' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/soc/soc
Pull ARM SoC devicetree updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"The biggest change this time is for the 32-bit devicetree files, which
are all moved to a new location, using separate subdirectories for
each SoC vendor, following the same scheme that is used on arm64, mips
and riscv. This has been discussed for many years, but so far we never
did this as there was a plan to move the files out of the kernel
  entirely, which has never happened.

The impact of this will be that all external patches no longer apply,
and anything depending on the location of the dtb files in the build
directory will have to change. The installed files after 'make
  dtbs_install' keep the current location.

There are six added SoCs here that are largely variants of previously
added chips. Two other chips are added in a separate branch along with
  their device drivers.

   - The Samsung Exynos 4212 makes its return after the Samsung Galaxy
Express phone is addded at last. The SoC support was originally
added in 2012 but removed again in 2017 as it was unused at the
     time.

   - Amlogic C3 is a Cortex-A35 based smart IP camera chip

   - Qualcomm MSM8939 (Snapdragon 615) is a more featureful variant of
the still common MSM8916 (Snapdragon 410) phone chip that has been
     supported for a long time.

   - Qualcomm SC8180x (Snapdragon 8cx) is one of their earlier high-end
laptop chips, used in the Lenovo Flex 5G, which is added along with
     the reference board.

   - Qualcomm SDX75 is the latest generation modem chip that is used as
a peripherial in phones but can also run a standalone Linux. Unlike
     the prior 32-bit SDX65 and SDX55, this now has a 64-bit Cortex-A55.

   - Alibaba T-Head TH1520 is a quad-core RISC-V chip based on the
Xuantie C910 core, a step up from all previously added rv64 chips.

All of the above come with reference board implementations, those
included there are 39 new board files, but only five more 32-bit this
  time, probably a new low:

   - Marantec Maveo board based on dhcor imx6ull module

   - Endian 4i Edge 200, based on the armv5 Marvell Kirkwood chip

   - Epson Moverio BT-200 AR glasses based on TI OMAP4

   - PHYTEC STM32MP1-3 Dev board based on STM32MP15 PHYTEC SOM

   - ICnova ADB4006 board based on Allwinner A20

On the 64-bit side, there are also fewer addded machines than we had
  in the recent releases:

   - Three boards based on NXP i.MX8: Emtop SoM & Baseboard, NXP i.MX8MM
EVKB board and i.MX8MP based Gateworks Venice gw7905-2x device.

   - NVIDIA IGX Orin and Jetson Orin Nano boards, both based on tegra234

   - Qualcomm gains support for 6 reference boards on various members of
their IPQ networking SoC series, as well as the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua
phone, the Acer Aspire 1 laptop, and the Fxtec Pro1X board on top
of the various reference platforms for their new chips.

   - Rockchips support for several newer boards: Indiedroid Nova
(rk3588), Edgeble Neural Compute Module 6B (rk3588), FriendlyARM
     NanoPi R2C Plus (rk3328), Anbernic RG353PS (rk3566), Lunzn
     Fastrhino R66S/R68S (rk3568)

   - TI K3/AM625 based PHYTEC phyBOARD-Lyra-AM625 board and Toradex
Verdin family with AM62 COM, carrier and dev boards

Other changes to existing boards contain the usual minor improvements
  along with

   - continued updates to clean up dts files based on dtc warnings and
binding checks, in particular cache properties and node names

   - support for devicetree overlays on at91, bcm283x

   - significant additions to existing SoC support on mediatek,
qualcomm, ti k3 family, starfive jh71xx, NXP i.MX6 and i.MX8, ST
     STM32MP1

As usual, a lot more detail is available in the individual merge

c0877829ad dt-bindings: firmware: qcom, scm: Document that SCM can be dma-coherent
Trogdor devices use firmware backed by TF-A instead of Qualcomm's
normal TZ. On TF-A we end up mapping memory as cacheable. Specifically,
you can see in Trogdor's TF-A code [1] in qti_sip_mem_assign() that we
call qti_mmap_add_dynamic_region() with MT_RO_DATA. This translates
down to MT_MEMORY instead of MT_NON_CACHEABLE or MT_DEVICE.

Let's allow devices like trogdor to be described properly by allowing
"dma-coherent" in the SCM node.

Arm SCMI updates for v6.5

Couple of main additions :-

1. Support for multiple SMC/HVC transports for SCMI:

Some platforms need to support multiple SCMI instances within
a platform(more commonly in a VM). The same SMC/HVC FID is used with
all the instances. The platform or the hypervisor needs a way to
distinguish among SMC/HVC calls made from different instances.

This change adds support for passing shmem channel address as the
parameters in the SMC/HVC call. The address is split into 4KB-page
   and offset for simiplicity.

2. Addition od SCMI v3.2 explicit powercap enable/disable support:

SCMI v3.2 specification introduces support to disable powercapping
as a whole on the desired zones.

This change adds the needed support to the core SCMI powercap protocol,
exposing enable/disable protocol operations and then wiring up the new
operartions in the related powercap framework helpers.

Arm SCMI updates for v6.4

The main and only new addition this time around is the support for
unidirectional mailbox channels. SCMI communicates between the agent
and the platform using one bidirectional 'a2p' channel used by the agent
to send SCMI commands and synchronously receive the related replies, and
an optional 'p2a' unidirectional channel used to asynchronously receive
delayed responses and notifications emitted from the platform.

In order to support platforms that support only unidirectional mailbox
hardware channels, the existing bindings are extended to support the
same. Both bidirectional and unidirectional channels support for the
SCMI mailbox can coexist. The correct and effective combination of
defined 'mboxes' and 'shmem' descriptors determines the type of the
mailbox channel.

This also contains a fix for the transfers allocation on Rx channel
especially when the base protocol doesn't use Rx channel while some
of the protocols can have dedicated Rx channels.

92ac94f7e1 dt-bindings: firmware: arm, scmi: Support mailboxes unidirectional channels
SCMI defines two kinds of communication channels between the agent and the
platform: one bidirectional 'a2p' channel used by the agent to send SCMI
commands and synchronously receive the related replies, and an optional
'p2a' unidirectional channel used to asynchronously receive delayed
responses and notifications emitted from the platform.

When configuring an SCMI transport based on mailboxes, the current binding
supports only mailboxes providing bidirectional channels: in such a case
one mailbox channel can be easily assigned to each SCMI channel as above
described.

In case, instead, to have to deal with mailboxes providing only distinct
unidirectional channels, it becomes necessary to extend the binding in
order to be able to bind 2 distinct unidirectional mailbox channels to the
same SCMI 'a2p' channel.

Bidirectional and unidirectional channels support for the SCMI mailbox
transport can coexist by carefully considering the effective combination
of defined 'mboxes' and 'shmem' descriptors.

Qualcomm driver updates for v6.3

This introduces a new driver for the Data Capture and Compare block,
which provides a mechanism for capturing hardware state (access MMIO
registers) either upon request of triggered automatically e.g. upon a
watchdog bite, for post mortem analysis.

The remote filesystem memory share driver gains support for having its
memory bound to more than a single VMID.

The SCM driver gains the minimal support needed to support a new
mechanism where secure world can put calls on hold and later request
them to be retried.

Support for the new SA8775P platform is added to rpmhpd, QDU1000 is
added to the SCM driver and a long list of platforms are added to the
socinfo driver. Support for socinfo data revision 16 is also introduced.

Lastly a driver to program the ramp controller in MSM8976 is introduced.

Pull ARM DT updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"As usual, the bulk of the changes for the SoC tree are devicetree file
updates, and most of these changes are for 64-bit embedded machines.
As before, there are a ton of style cleanups, and additional hardware
  support for existing machines.

Looking only at the new SoC, the notable additions are:

   - A whole family of Broadcom broadband SoCs, both 32-bit and 64-bit:
     BCM63178, BCM63158, BCM4912, BCM6858, BCM6878, BCM6846, BCM63146,
     BCM6856, BCM6855, BCM6756, BCM63148, and BCM6813. Each SoC comes
     with a corresponding reference board.

   - The new NXP i.MX93 SoC, the follow-up to the popular i.MX6 and
i.MX8 embedded SoCs, now using Cortex-A55 cores and the Ethos-U65
     NPU.

   - Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 (SC8280XP), the current high end of
Arm based Laptop SoCs, and its automotive cousin, the SA8540P. The
SC8280XP is used in the Lenovo Thinkpad X13s laptop that also gets
added here in addition to the reference boards.

   - Allwinner H616, a newer version of the H6 SoC, targeted at
Set-top-box applications. It comes with dts files for the Orange Pi
     zero2 single-board computer and the X96 Mate set-top-box

   - Marvell Prestera 98DX2530 (AlleyCat5), a network switch chip in the
Armada SoC family based on the Cortex-A55 core.

New machines based on previously supported SoCs include:

   - Several new machines on NXP i.MX platforms: multiple Toradex
Colibri boards using the "Iris" and "Ixora" carriers, DH
     electronics i.MX8M Plus DHCOM and PDK2, TQ-Systems TQMa8MPQL, and
     phytech phyBOARD-Polis-i.MX8MM.

   - Google Chameleon v3 FPGA board based on Intel Arria10 and Stratix
10 Software Virtual platform, both in the SoCFPGA platform.

   - Two new wireless devices based on Broadcom SoCs: The Asus GT-AX6000
Router and the Cisco Meraki MR26 access point

   - Improved Chromebook support for both the Mediatek and Qualcomm SoC
families brought added machines: Acer Chromebook 514 (MT8192), Acer
Chromebook Spin 513 (MT8195) and a couple of SC7180 based machines
including the Lenovo IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 3.

   - Xiaomi Mi Mix2s, LG G7 and LG V35 are mobile phones based on
Qualcomm SDM845, while Mi 5s Plus is based on MSM8996.

   - Finally, there are a few development board on other chips: PCB8309
(Microchip lan966x), Radxa Rock Pi S (Rockchips RK3308) DH DRC
Compact (ST STM32MP1) and Inforce IFC6560 (Qualcomm SDM660)"

Qualcomm driver updates for v5.20

This introduces a new driver that requests interconnect bandwidth based
on throughput measurements of the bwmon hardware blocks found associated
with, among other things, the CPU subsystem on many Qualcomm platforms.

It introduces support for the SCM wrapper driver to vote for
interconnect bandwidth for operations that needs bandwidth to the crypto
engine. This ensures both performance and guards against issues caused
by lacking votes for this path.

The socinfo driver gains knowledge about the SC7180P SoC.

It contains a range of fixes for spelling mistakes, refcount leaks in
various drivers and removes some redundant code from the apr remove
path.

The SCM DT bindings are updated to declare support for QCS404, SM6125
and SDX65.

The command db driver has a strncpy() converted to strscpy_pad() and
then back again with proper documentation to why this was the right API.
