[ Upstream commitd3d9c45702] If param_offset > buff_len then the memcpy() statement in ufshcd_read_desc_param() corrupts memory since it copies 256 + buff_len - param_offset bytes into a buffer with size buff_len. Since param_offset < 256 this results in writing past the bound of the output buffer. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
