commitd829229e35upstream. The purpose of this was to keep all the queues updated with the Rx sequence numbers because unlikely yet possible situations where queues can't understand if a specific packet needs to be dropped or not. Unfortunately, it was reported that this caused issues in our DMA engine. We don't fully understand how this is related, but this is being currently debugged. For now, just don't send this notification to the Rx queues. This de-facto reverts my commit3c514bf831: iwlwifi: mvm: add a loose synchronization of the NSSN across Rx queues This issue was reported here: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204873 https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=205001 and others maybe. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
